How to care for your watch
Your watch is a high-precision instrument which requires specific care and attention. Please follow our advice and maintenance recommendations.
- After DivingAfter a dive always carefully rinse your watch with fresh water (preferably lukewarm and never hot) to eliminate the salt which over time can cause oxidations or affect the seals of the watch.
- Screw-down CrownsImportant: Remember to screw down all the crowns before diving and in any case after setting setting: time, dive profile, total dive time and the fly-no-fly indicator. This in order to prevent water or moisture getting into the case and movement.
- ShocksAvoid violent impacts and knocks which could leave marks on your case and damage the internal mechanism of your watch.
- TemperatureDo not subject your watch to extreme temperatures (less than 0°C or greater than 60°C) or temperature changes.
- Magnetic FieldsDo not leave your watch near an electro-magnetic source, such as loudspeakers which could damage the mechanism of your watch.
- CleaningIn order to care for your timepiece, use a small toothbrush and soapy water to clean your metal straps and the water-resistant cases, then rinse carefully with clean water. Dry with a soft rag.
- Changing DateAs a precaution, do not change the date between 8pm and 4am, as there is a high risk of mechanical breakage.
- ServicingOver time, a watch may lose its water-resistance as seals become worn or if it suffers an accidental impact. We recommend you take your watch to one of our service centres every 4 years to check its water-resistance and its general condition.

Service and Warranty
5 Year international warranty
We guarantee your watch against malfunction and manufacturing defects for a period of five years with effect from its date of purchase. Straps and Crystal are excluded form this warranty. You can consult our complete warranty terms in our general terms & conditions.
How to obtain your warranty or service
If you experience any malfunction or defect, please inform us immediately at administration@buhlmannwatches.com. We will then follow-up with you and carry you through our simple repair and warranty process. Repair and service is carried out directly at the factory.

We recommend you to service your watch every two years to keep it functioning optimally and to ensure it retains its value. For what regards straps, these can deteriorate if brought in contact with swater or other liquids. Over time this will cause decoloration and other damage. In order to preserve your strap, it is recommended not to bring it in contact with any liquids. Please note your warranty does not include the strap. If you use your watch for diving in the sea, it is highly recommended to rinse it well with fresh water after every dive.
